I don´t know why I haven´t uploaded this one till now, guess I just forgot. This photo is kind of special to me cause it was the first ribbon I got over at DPC. Sure, nothing groundbreaking about it and there are a ton of things I would have done diffrently with the photo if I had taken it today but still very pleased with it even though it´s hardly the most original photo in the history of photography.
Used a 550ex and a 420ex from the left side to light this, direct flash and no bounce as I needed every bit of strength from them as I could get.
My friend Hjalti had at that time recently bought this HUGE aquarium that holds about 800 litres of water and it was empty so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to try one of these splash shots I have seen so many of. This was my first time doing anything similiar as this and it was a lot of fun and I have done quite a few of them since then.

another shot from Arnhem , i took one from the same spot but with a diffrent angle , i went back to make this whole overview of this section .. i was here with 15 other photographers from Germany one is visible the other has a camera hidden in the photo ..

Taking a diffrent view from normal, most people look at flowers by looking down at them, but when we alter the direction when we look or photograph them we get a different perspective and unique feeling of connection with nature. No Ai was used in the post production.

Slightly diffrent white balance here. Same day aland plance as the previous one.

Reflection on the flip?
Made the picture in the reflection of water, first time trying this out, I saw the moon reflection in the water walking back from a few shots, and i was thinking, this could be nice for the picture.
next time i will experiance a bit more with it, it looks quit nice and diffrent. What do you think i should try a next one? With more planning going forward.

A diffrent angle for jetty but Rangitoto island at back and smoothness in water really make this composition work
I make these every so often. And everytime they are diffrent!

A perspective work from Haliç/ Golden Horn Metro Station Bridge. They look so diffrent despite they are both mosques, Hagia Sophia is like the oldest sister of the family who is adopted at first so she can't really fit in other siblings but all the other siblings adore her but she doesn't like them back. New Mosque is like the middle child to me. It is the first mosque when you enter the historic peninsula yet many people ignore it and move on to see "real" place. It is sad. It's like he is jelous of all the fame and attention Hagia Sophia gets. He prepares revenge plans yet no one cares.

What isn't more proper right now than some wintry images (for the last time,,) from Norway =)
Found 4 more images that I took back then (almost 5 years since now) and Im still satisfied with.
This is a new version of my Reine panorama, that I took in diffrent ways that morning.
This is 4 vertical images with a 28mm lens and a warming filter stiched togheter.
Nikon FE – Zeiss Distagon 28mm ZF.2 at f/16 and around 4sec each – Fuji Velvia 50 exp 2006 – Warmingfilter 81A.

Saturday I will be going to a white elephant party...so I decided to make another Santa...this one is a little diffrent....I hope whoever gets him will like him....
I want to build what's on my mind and this last couple of years has been a roller coster ride with both my physical and mental health. I built this to try to show the chaos of my mind and being a host of so many diffrent feelings, experiences and aptitudes.
You could see it as a classic good versus evil but my thought is that you also can se it as a pendulum between the not so pleasent feeelings as fear, sorrow and anger on one side and happiness and pleasure on the other.
But there is also a third interpretation, my experience of having a dual personality where I one moment love all social activities and a busy life and the other moment want to live alone in my tower and just build with my Lego. What do you see when you look at my build?
