Well, you guessed it, Day 50. A milestone. This is a little more difficult than I thought...
I have a list of equipment to get, however, that should help make this easier and more creative. The list includes an off-camera flash, 50mm prime lens, maybe some umbrellas or soft boxes.

Difficult to get a shot of York Minster without capturing all the scaffolding that covers much of it at the moment. Incredible building though, and the gardens offered a surprising amount of tranquility in the middle of an otherwise chaotic Saturday afternoon mix of shoppers and hen parties.

In difficult lighting conditions, one of the second (or third?0 batch of GMs rolls through on a Yeoman express. Unusually on the down fast, did this head off towards Earley rather than Slough?
The tall, narrow dimensions of the 4-ounce sample glass (well, really plastic), new to the festival this year, made it very difficult for volunteers to pour draft beer into the glass. In fact, a lot of foaming beer ended up on the ground, dumping a significant amount festival profits with it.

While a little difficult to see, in an enlarged image, the cottages are the orange walls in the upper centre left of the photograph. This is the Foreman's house, and to the right of the tree in the centre of the photograph can be seen the remains of further orange pise walls. This many originally been a cottage but too much has be washed away to postively identify the ruins.

The spring that goes past the quarry faces (the edge of the plateau with slate remains can be seen in the bottom left of the photograph) becomes a creek that runs along the bottom of the two hillfaces and trees and plantings of lilies by the cottage occupants can be found along the creek bed.
This view is from a slightly different view from the other photo and shows more of the hillside above the Foreman's house. The road into the quarry is hidden behind the tree branches on the upper left of the view.
Difficult choosing which to upload today as non were particularly great. The sky is just permanently overcast at the moment. Probably going to be plenty more photos of this train station over time.

A difficult opening hole (SI. 4), the fairway is bounded by a hedge (not out-of-bounds) on the right-hand side (all the way down to the green and to the back) and deep rough and small trees on the left-hand side. The fairway slopes slightly left to right and there is a small valley just beyond the 2 bunkers on the right-hand side. The green is smaller than most of the others on the course and tucked into a corner bounded by a hedge (back and right), small trees to the left and a grass bunker to the right. There is a bunker protecting the near-left side of the green.
H O L E H I N T S :
Drive - Hit to the left half of the fairway. This will allow the ball to move left-to-right on the fairway and also lower the risk of a slice over the right hedge. Long, straight hitters can fire straight at the flag.
Shot to Green - Requires a more accurate shot as the green is small and well protected. Best to leave slightly short and to the right if not firing at the pin. This will stop you from short-siding yourself in the bunker or hitting into the hedge.
