It's like, through the confusion, through the pain, through the fast pace, you see something clearly. There's a sudden clarity in what you're doing.
There's snow and ice on the ground as the wind keeps bringing fresh snow. There are two groups of people standing on opposite ends, running around, scooping up snowballs and throwing them as fast as they can. They're laughing and running, each side trying to gain an advantage so they can capture the flag. On the side, a smaller group of three, untouched by the snowballs, watch quietly, rubbing their hands in their gloves to stay warm. Slowly, silently, like ghosts in the night, they sneak around, behind the red team, unseen. Two of them scoop a snowball each while the third snatches the flag. They charge straight through the red team, acting as if they're all on the same side, and no one realizes until they've made it back to their own camp. They're about to hold the flag up for all to see when a blue flag is held up on the other side. Someone else had the same idea they did, and beat them to it.
Servite High School's 6th Annual Gala: Staging the Difference took place on Saturday, February 7 at the Anaheim Hilton. Thank you to the Gala co-chairs, the Gala committee, event sponsors and all those who attended the event. It was a night filled with dinner, dancing and lots of fun.

Recently a visitor asked me how does one know the difference between 'Upper' and 'Lower' and the answer is that in general the section of a street nearest a river or canal is lower while the section furthest away from the river or canal is upper.
In the old days the better off people would live at the upper end of the street to avoid the smell of the water and also in order to avoid flooding. The exception is Mount Street Lower and Mount Street Upper as they are parallel but it could be argued the the lower street is closer to the river Liffey if the Grand Canal is not the reference.
In the 1980s I lived in Drumcondra for about five years and I really liked the area. However, I cannot remember any area being described as Drumcondra Village but there is now a sign that welcomes visitors to Drumcondra Village so my memory must be failing.

Yes it is me, and really shows how much I have changed in appearance since November 2007. Most of these changes have occurred on their own and according to my Doctors at both the VA in Palo Alto and Stanford Medical Center have said this may happen to 1 in 5 to 10 million people over the age of 50. Needles to say going 24/7 was of necessity .

I just found psych-k a few days ago. I am sooo excited! This REALLY WORKS! I am reposting the 2 videos that I just posted a few days ago, that you should watch to know the whole process, but I also made 2 videos of excerpts so you don’t have to go watch the whole things to find them.The first excerpt explains the process of how to pre-test and talk to the subconscious mind. There is the important step of when you test you need to make sure your chin is parallel with the floor, but your eyes are looking down.The other excerpt shows the second half of the process of implementing the positive statements to the subscious. It shows the very important parts of how you position your body to be able to talk to the whole brain of interlocking your hands and crossing your ankles. I go ahead once I interlock my hands of twisting and bringing my arms up to rest on my heart. Then there’s the important move at the end to save the process of touching your fingers together, while saying your positive statement.I did this on every one of my affirmations, and omg, it is amazing the difference it makes! yeah, my mind actually believes them now without me having to make sure I put my mind into that state. I am so excited to see if tomorrow morning, when I go to my affirmations, if that nagging self sabotaging part of me doesn’t have any comments about doing what I know is good for me now. That bitty just needs to go on down the road, she has worn out her stay in my head! I have to self test because it’s just me and although I know which thoughts my subconscious rejects, it is really awesome to compare the pre-test and the post-test to see that it is now locked into my subconscious mind.There are several youtube videos on self testing, but the one I seem to like the best is to make a ring with my left hand and stick 2 fingers into the hole and after I ask the question (keeping my chin parallel to the floor and eyes down), I slide my right hand to the right trying to break the circle. It really works. I had to do a couple of them a couple of times, but man there was a lot of hoopin’ and hollerin’ when I couldn’t break the circle of my left fingers with my right fingers. I’m all for anything to make this process of being the best me easier!Rob Williams says everyone is different, as well as every block is different when the release of the block or the concreting of the positive statement happens.For me, when I knew that the change happened of either physical, emotional or mental, it was either a sharp pain somewhere in my body with eventually 3rd eye visuals of beautiful images or colors.

Compare and contrast the difference 50 years makes. Taken from roughly the same spot. Okay, so for people (all three of you still commenting/viewing photos), I'm getting really freaking annoyed with my wide angle lens. It has an arperture of 2.8. But it never has the DOF I'm used too. I thought this was because I shot with an f1.4 so often. But then I had my telephoto lens out. The DOF with that (at f4.5) is more shallow then my wide angle. And I don't understand it?
Any help, suggestions? It's been bugging me. I AM shooting at 2.8. At least that's what my camera and lightroom say I'm shooting at. But it doesn't look like I am. At least not comparing those two pictures above. Granted the first photo goes back further, but it is still blurrier than in the 2.8. And Bello is closer up so you would think that would make a difference?
I don't know. I'm annoyed.
