I am eating lots more fruit, far less chocolate and have stopped diet drinks, and I have lost 6lb in 10days, and feeling quite pleased with myself :)
Well, I decided to take a day break from my doll diet because a global disaster happened and I can fill the void inside me with material goods. At Savers I saw several dolls I potentially did want but I decided to just get this My Scene Hudson cuz I remember him being trapped in the glass cabinet for $50 for the last 4 months but I guess Savers decided that they needed more space for other worthless treasures lol.
I remember buying one of him brand new 11 years ago and promptly losing all of his accessories and stuff but my nostalgia went through the roof holdng the box in my hands. I mainly bought him for his clothes but I’ll probably harvest his body for parts.
Also shoutout to that portable DVD player cuz it’s absolutely obsolete technology lol.
I also bought another $15 Jasper cuz I need more Ken clothes and Ken fashion packs are $10 and look much uglier than just buying the whole thing. I may reroot Jasper with white hair….
And shoutout to @dolldirt for pointing out on eBay there’s this high quality Indian outfit for Ken that’s fully lined and snaps together for under $5. I bought it when Chris linked me to it and it came today and I might get around to customizing a childhood Blaine doll to be an Indian man to go with my Indian Barbie.
And the other dress I bought from the same seller cuz it looked cute and fits my Francie well.

Day 231 (01.17.2011)
Ugh.. there are some days that I just hate my co-workers. I have several that love to bake and they love to share...a deadly combination with my diet battle. Add this to the fact that I have a friend and a niece celebrating a birthday today, plus it is MLK day, plus it is the Alabama governor's inauguration day, plus the Bears have made the playoffs, plus it is a dreary Monday....I mean, there were tons of reasons to celebrate. I just couldn't continue to fight. I thought just taking a photo of the cupcake would help, but then my finger accidentally went into the top. I couldn't let it waste and I didn't think anyone would want a cupcake with a fingerprint.
Let's face it....I had to have this cupcake. I needed it. Not only was it chocolate, but it had a peanut butter center. Two of my favorite things. It was just sitting there, waiting for me. I couldn't concentrate on work. It...it...it was absolutely delicious.
I had asparagus for dinner. That should cancel out all calories, right?

Picnic season has arrived. I passed by this outdoor grill on my walk around the lake in Santee, California. The aroma was irrisistable. I stay away from this fun food these days for my health but every now and then like with ice cream I give in and treat myselt. Something about cooking outside that makes food more fun and tasty then over the stove.
