My department's entry in the office carving contest. We so won. Big pumpkin has a headband with our logo on it, all other pumpkins are decorated with competitors logos (all are blurred out, sorry). Oh the carnage!

As I watched, the wasp tore apart the fly. I think I saw an eye get removed, and it fell to the ground.

Unfortunately, we didn't spend a lot of time at the zoo when I went last month so there aren't a lot of great pictures of animals. There is, however, a lot of this guy. Apparently, this little monkey got a hold of a bird. Instead of a new playmate, this feathered friend was rendered apart and then devoured by the hungry simian. All in front of plenty of kids and horrified zoo-goers. And I just kept clicking away, trying to capture every moment of it.
The Gugs of Lovecraft's Dreamlands stand 11' tall, have bifurcated forearms complete with a set of claws for each of their four hands, and an enormous vertical mouth with which to haunt your nightmares. I'm a little disappointed in Toy Vault's design here ... the torso is non-existent (sacrificed for over-extending the mouth) and the legs are stumpy and not worthy of mention.
