Mahayana Buddhism is the state religion of Bhutan, and Buddhists comprise two-thirds to three-quarters of its population.[1] Although originating in Tibetan Buddhism, the Buddhism practiced in Bhutan differs significantly in its rituals, liturgy, and monastic organization.
The state religion has long been supported financially by the government through annual subsidies to monasteries, shrines, monks, and nuns.
In the modern era, support of the state religion during the reign of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck includes the manufacture of 10,000 gilded bronze images of the Buddha, publication of elegant calligraphied editions of the 108-volume Kangyur (Collection of the Words of the Buddha) and the 225-volume Tengyur (Collection of Commentaries), and the construction of numerous chorten (stupas) throughout the country.
While visiting a Swan who is still on her nest, a kind stranger told me of a new family just a few blocks away. He though I could get some good shots of them. Man was he right. They came right up to me and stayed for about 10 minutes. I am really excited about a couple photos, I hope you enjoy also.

Alstroemeria is symbolising friendship and devotion.
Resembling a miniature lily, Alstroemeria, often called the Peruvian Lily or Lily of the Incas, was named after its discoverer, Baron Claus von Alstromer, a Swedish baron who collected the seeds on a trip to Spain in 1753.
Today, this popular flower can be found in a range of colours – from white to golden yellow, orange to apricot, pink to red, lavender and purple.

Everyone of us has its own dedication in life, meaning we are dedicated on something, like this guy who is so dedicated in making his pots as much as possible perfect in all ways. I wonder how he manage to have all his pots in a same height & diameter. Yes ofcourse if we measure it, it will not that perfect, but in our eyes its different.
