Foi mandado incrustar, em 1963, pela Mocidade Portuguesa Feminina este Nicho, no muro da Quinta do Monteiro-Mor, no Lumiar, onde se encontra edificado o Palácio Angeja-Palmela que, actualmente, acolhe o Museu Nacional do Traje (de da Moda). O Palácio Angeja-Palmela foi mandado construir pelo (não 3º mas 5º) Marquês de Angeja (D. Pedro José de Noronha) durante o Século XVIII. O edifício foi construído sob influência da arquitectura pombalina mas de uma construção primitiva resta-lhe uma ombreira quinhentista, que se encontra numa residência contígua ao Palácio assim como algumas estruturas arquitectónicas do Século XVII. Nesta propriedade está também o Palácio do Monteiro-Mor, casa do séc. XVII com o seu Jardim Botânico mandado plantar com espécies vegetais exóticas vindas das colónias portuguesas (à época) de África, Índia, Timor e ainda uma zona verde com cerca de onze hectares.

Rakher Upobash is a Hindu festival of lights, faith and devotion. It is also known as Kartik Brati. The festival is celebrated in the month of Kartik, which usually falls in November. Hindu worshipers fast and pray in the earnest to the Gods for their favors during the traditional ritual.

The photo is about a festival called Rakher upobash. When thousands of Hindu people sit together with lamps & fruits & they pray to God. They remember Baba Loknath who was an 18th Century Hindu saint of Bengal. Hindu devotees take fast whole day and pray in earnest to the gods for their favors during the ritual called Rakher Upobash traditionally.

In the serene ambience of a Balinese temple, an elderly lady stands with quiet grace. Clad in a traditional kebaya, her attire is a vibrant tapestry of intricate patterns and rich colors, symbolizing the cultural heritage of Bali. She holds a woven prayer basket, filled with offerings of flowers and incense, poised for her ritual devotion. The temple's ancient stone carvings create a sacred backdrop, enhancing the sense of timeless spirituality and devotion in this poignant scene.
