Devotees pray to the Goddess of Mercy at Lotus Hill (Lainhuashan) in Pearl River Delta. Joss sticks or Chinese incense are used in Buddhism religion, it is the smoke from the burning joss sticks that convey the prayer of the faithful to heaven.
"Rakher Upobas" is Religious Fasting Festival of Hinduism. Thousand of Hindu devotee’s sit on the floor to worship with lights (Prodip) and pray to Gods in front of Shri Shri Lokanath Brahmachar Ashram and temple during their fasting program.

Kavadis are affixed on a bearer’s body by long sharpened rods or by chains and small hooks.
Piercing the skin, tongue or cheeks with vel skewers is also common. This prevents the devotees from speaking and gives them great powers of endurance.
'Pandharpur Wari' or Wari is a yatra to Pandharpur, Maharashtra, to honor Vithoba. This is a part of Indian Culture, It involves carrying the paduka of a saint in a palkhi, most notably of Dnyaneshwar and Tukaram, from their respective shrines to Pandharpur. Many Pilgrims join this procession on foot. Warkari is a Marathi term which means "one who performs the wari. This Culture is more than 700 to 800 years old.
Few years ago I clicked this picture in Ganga Sagar, West Bengal, India,on a early morning in winter during the Ganga Sagar festival. A devotee taking holy dip in the sagar, after that worshiped the sun. Thousand of people came here in this time in the Ganga Sagar Mela.
A devotee is performing rituals at the point of ‘Bay of Bengal’ where river ‘Ganges’ meets the sea.

Harshat Mata Temple s the architecturally splendid and sculpturally beautiful Harshat Mata temple which was built between the 7th-8th centuries, but was destroyed and damaged by Mahmud Ghazni.
