In October, the BCCK supported Scottish Development International (SDI) and its delegation in visiting Busan as part of the 7th Asian Offshore Wind, Wave, and Tidal Energy Conference (AWTEC) in Busan.

As part of AWTEC’s programme, SDI hosted and both SDI and BCCK co-organised a dedicated forum titled “Think Offshore, Think Scotland” in the Main Hall. The forum commenced with welcome remarks from Richard Baker, APAC lead for Energy Transition of SDI Singapore, and was moderated by Ian Ross from SDI Scotland, Trade Specialist - Energy Transition.

The event featured insightful presentations by seven prominent companies — Venterra Group, Global Quality Services(GQS), EODEX Group, OEG Renewables, Maritime Developments Ltd(MDL), Heavy Lift Projects(HLP) — who shared their activities and ambitious visions for advancing the offshore wind supply chain. The networking session that followed provided international participants with actionable insights and valuable connections.

BCCK was honored to support SDI’s journey in Busan, playing a key role in facilitating the forum and fostering global collaboration. We support the endeavours of the delegation in the offshore wind sector.

Anne Arundel County educators learned to integrate three different art forms into other academic areas. They rotated throughout the day, spending equal time weaving and stitching with Katherine Dilworth, a Young Audiences fiber artist; learning the elements of dance with Lacey Sheppard, Arts Integration Teacher Specialist; and forming clay vessels with Chesapeake Arts Center artist Cami Ascher.

New Parent Welcome Dinner - September 2012

This is a drawing I produced and developed throughout the "Inventions" project; January 2010.

Development of Final Design with CAD Prototype- The product has the ability to specifically tailor its design to different users’ interests: e.g. users who loves music could buy a MP3 incorporated bracelet. The fact that it is attachable and interchangeable will mean it will enhance their experience and ensure the product will not be obsolescent but trendy and new. The simplistic approach to the design means it is easy to use and helps many users with their needs to keep fit and track their activities throughout the day. It incorporates the element of sport into a watch and provides that extra motivation to do more exercise and be more active. The curved flexible glass screen is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably on the users wrist. It is designed to monitor exercise patterns and heart rate with a built in sensor and this helps to improve the overall performance of the product, making the watch multi-functional. I therefore had to decide how to combine together these different aspects and decide on how to create one final idea.
