An improved IP regime is not only good for the United States and its allies, but also for economic development more broadly. At the meeting of the deputy commissioners, district revenue officers and tehsildars, I was informed that after the recent decision to do away with the No Objection Certificates, the sale deeds in Punjab have shown a robust increase of 10 to 15 % . The state is contemplating the setting up of cashless tehsils to ensure more transparency into day to day working besides facilitating the common masses by minimizing their interaction with revenue offices as a part of unique governance reforms initiated in the state.
