Once dry and barren, the hillside farms of Taluwa are now green and thriving.
Through training on alternative farming techniques and efficient water use, the DCRL project demonstrated how technical interventions can dismantle gender and caste barriers, fostering equity and leadership opportunities for women and marginalized groups.

This research has studied and developed the near real-time emission inventory from the three main sources which are traffic, open burning, and industry in Pathum Thani province in Thailand. The datasets that were used to develop the near real-time emission inventories came from CCTV on the road, Google map API, hotspots from satellites and CEMS. The emission inventories are presented to the public via a web application platform by importing the hourly emissions to the platform. There were 12 pollutants in emission inventory which are PM10, PM2.5, NOx, CO, SO2, NH3, NMVOC, CO2, CH4, N2O, BC and OC. From the results, the emission from the traffic sector on weekdays peaked at 8:00 and 18:00 while the emission on weekends peaked at 11:00 and 17:00. Moreover, the emission on weekends was lower than weekdays. The area near other provinces, especially Bangkok, had higher emissions than other areas in Pathum Thani province. Furthermore, the emissions from this study were much higher than static emission inventories in 2018. In the open burning sector, the emission inventory from this study had emissions higher than the study in 2018 about 39%. This can be caused by the higher production of agricultural waste that can result from the change of waste removal to other methods instead of open burning. In the industry sector, almost all emission inventory was calculated from static datasets because the factories that have CEMS have only 6 factories in Pathum Thani province and all of them are power plants. From the results, the most emissions came from the food and beverage sector. The most emitted pollutant was CO2 and SO2. On the other hand, NH3 was the least emitted.

When he once again reached the dais, cops tried to zero in, and that is when all hell broke loose. Supporters first formed a ring around Baba Ramdev to prevent him from being arrested, and then started throwing stones at the policemen. Some of the protesters were injured in the incident.
