Thomas Thornn, he's a CEO, genius, billionaire, philanthropist. Oh, and a narcissist. So what does he decide to do? Become a superhero of course! Why? Is it for the honor? To help the helpless? No, for the publicity.
He used his company's resources to develope his own super, suit and weapons. Once everything was complete, he hit the streets as the Crimson Cape. (Borrowing the name and outfit from the Crimson Cloak as to gain more publicity.)
For the next month's he, very publicly, fought various villains, always making sure that the press was there to see it. He continued this way building hype for when he would reveal his identity. (Though this was only to produce publicity for his company.) But, unbeknownst to him, his little publicity stunts were attracting the wrong kind of attention from Mr. Night who resented Thornn. Not only for foiling his plans but for drawing attention to Mr. Night, who always works in the shadows.
When the big day came and Thomas showed the world that he was the Crimson Cape everything was looking up, he company was making more money than ever, he was famous beyond belief and he was making the world a better place, but that was at the back of his mind.
When he came home to share his happiness with his wife, he found her dead, murdered by Mr. Night. After this he fell into a deep depressio. He immediately quit his hero work and developed a drinking addiction that caused him to almost lose his entire company.
One night after walking home from once again drinking his worries away at a bar he was stopped by a mysterious figure who pulled him into an alleyway. They snapped him out of his stupor and reminded him of the true meaning of being a hero.
Afterward, he found a renewed sense of purpose and went back to fighting, though now he fights for honor, following in the footsteps of the Crimson Cloak.
He never discovered the identity of the man in the alleyway, he believes it to be the true Crimson Cloak, but that remains to be seen...

I want to say that is probably the darkest backstory I came up with, though I will admit this is one of my better backstories.
I might just end up using this guy for my planned story... we shall see.
Also, I may have gone a tad overboard with the editing. (What's new? But I am really digging the shine effect.
I hope you enjoyed!

Oltre alla serie digitale ( flic.kr/s/aHsmsnW9Lv ) propongo la versione analogica che, secondo me, rende meglio la sensazione di oppressione mista ad appagamento per gli splendidi paesaggi.

This is the sunset shot in North Sin city.
When I was in my childhood; I was living in the country near equator, very often there are storm in the day or night. it can be a daily affairs. However in the month of May; Jun; July there would be more thunder storm. In Nov; Dec; Jan then there would be more rain fall; sometime can last for the whole day.
I have develope the skill to observe the sky formation & tell my mom's whether there would be fine day or raining day; if I see the could formation & color like these.
Anyway, back to the technique of capturing weather conditions.
When you taking against the sunlights; always have your DSLR + 2 stop.
I recommend that you use a polarizing filter when taking the sky shot or against the sun lights. In the case of having the polarizing filter attached then you just can use the meter reading of your camera.
in that situation, I would - 1 to 2 stop to get more lights. My advice is you need to try the setting a few time until you are good at judging the +/- f-stop.
Post processing is necessary to make the definations & clarity of the image.
In the above case, I have tune up the contrast; color; glow.
Thank you for your visit & support.
I appreciate it.

Well not quite ocean dress. This is what they look like when they are in the estuary or lower portion of the river. Note that the male face has already begun the transformation. However. even in the marine environment, some males develope the kype, months before their spawning migration into freshwater.
