SIPI developed its on-campus Restoration Site where students go to identify plants, study wildlife behavior, and conduct long-term ecological studies on March 21st 2015. Volunteers learned how to build and create (1) an outdoor classroom (2) a trail (3) a Hugelkultur garden and (4) a pollination hotel. Event was successful and brought in more than 50 volunteers - students, community members, staff and faculty.

Thank you to our volunteers for their time and hard work and to our field experts who served as crew leaders. Thank you to our student organization, board of regents, and faculty and staff who donated lunch items.

Through weekly mentorship sessions, our students learn new techniques, practice old ones, and leave inspired to continue developing their artistic style.

Leica 35mm Home Developed

Here is Anna in the Basement of her Grandmothers Home in Neostu. Anna set up her own darkroom, purchased her own chemicals, was supplied with antique equipment from Taft High School in Lincoln City. Here is where she set about learning the fundamentals of photography.

Her Grandmother and I could not have been more proud, and I am still just as proud of her. If her grandmother was alive today she would be the biggest encourager.

Developed C41 in black and white developer.

Presoak for a couple of minutes.

2 rotations in the first minute, stand develop for 30 minutes, 1 rotation and twist, develop for another 30 minutes.

5ml Rodinal Spezial and 495ml of water. 5 minute stop.
