The Desolation Wilderness is just west of lake Tahoe. It was some of the most beautiful scenery i have ever seen. The terrain is quite uneven through out most of the trail.
From this view we saw what looked to be a lamp turned on and an American flag inside, but after a friendly wave from the local DNR officers, we decided not to go inside.
