Wishing for the ordinary life, walking alone and I feel both are burning and cold. Thanks to you for leaving a drop of warmth for me to enjoy. You can’t measure the torrents rushing through my heart. I bury my love and hate in to the earth to gain peace. My restless heart running towards the light of the lone flame.

This morning we went to Llyn Llech Owain Country Park a few miles away from home.. I chose this as my POD because I felt quite desolate myself when the basket on my ability scooter fell off and I ran over it and its contents inc. two Canon L series lenses and my specs which were in a soft spongy case 😬
Thankfully they were undamaged , apart from the basket. Huw rang the Mobility Shop to see if they had any in stock, hoping to pick one up on the way home. They didn’t - but he ordered one elsewhere asap we got home. I think that the word ‘desolate’ suited my mood at the time because I need that basket tomorrow to go bird watching in Cardiff Wetlands whilst Huw is in meetings. In the grand scheme of things – no harm done.
I tried to convey the mood by converting to Mono then adding a Lightroom Preset

Reeds emerging from an isolated pond at one of the country parks. The reflections were magical and the water super still. I was in awe at the structures and textures and how they reflected themselves on the water.
