Le comité organisateur a annoncé avec enthousiasme la collecte de plus de 86 000$ au Mont-Sainte-Anne aujourd’hui. Mme Annie Bellavance, designer fondatrice et copropriétaire de Souris Mini et présidente d’honneur du Défibrose, a amassé plus de 15 000$ pour la cause. Pierre Harvey, ex-olympien en ski de fond et porte-parole du Défibrose Mon-Himalaya, a félicité tous les donateurs et était impressionné du succès.

Love Design è una grande Mostra Mercato pensata per tutti gli amanti del design, dell’arredamento e dell’arte in generale che, grazie al patrocinio del Comune di Milano-Cultura, verrà ospitata per la prima volta quest’anno nella più prestigiosa sede pubblica milanese dedicata all’arte contemporanea, il PAC-Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea, da venerdì 23 a domenica 25 ottobre 2009.

Straordinaria iniziativa nata nel 2003 e giunta alla sua quarta edizione, è promossa congiuntamente da AIRC Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca sul Cancro-Comitato Lombardia e da ADI Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, con il duplice obiettivo di sostenere la ricerca sul cancro, (nell’edizione 2007 sono stati raccolti 400 mila euro) e insieme creare un volano di interesse intorno al design italiano: da un lato promuovere una nuova forma di sensibilizzazione sull’attività svolta da AIRC e raccogliere fondi per alimentarla e sostenerla, dall’altro creare una nuova occasione per divulgare il design all’interno di un più vasto contesto culturale coinvolgendo la vita sociale di Milano.
