Uluru–Sky Australis D4SC1max standard Red+Blue
This proposition takes on findings or recent design tests based on a full polychrome palette (max 6); dividing 4 divisions of field with gold horizon diamond (fimbriation); Uluru arc for abstract Earth + Sky references to the 'Great Southern Land' of (terra australis) and previous designers (Hundertwasser 1986 and Mark Tucker 1993 for Ausflag); an original dynamic Southern Cross device integrating a Commonwealth Star "as an Epsilon" – intentionally bending Rules of Tincture (white on gold) to intensify the axial centre focus – with horizontal and vertical symmetry; innovative use of Green + Gold (National Colours) as upper feature, Blue (warm-purple or french-blue) + Red (Ochre-Orange or standard-red), to hang in tandem beside ATSI flags, while symbolising inclusivity, cultural diversity and an aspirational neutrality.
NOTE: The "visual" merging of the 7 point Federation Star with the 4 point gold axis references acknowledgment of the Eureka Flag 8 point star motif as our earliest flag devised by late colonial Australians).

For the 2016 London Design Biennale, Studio Makkink & Bey chose an extremely personal archive as the starting point for its project Design Diorama: The Archive as a Utopic Environment. The installation translates the international network of Studio Makkink & Bey into a three-dimensional blueprint of their living room: a replica of their own collection. The installation implicitly refers to the living and working environment of every designer — an environment that, as in the case of Makkink & Bey, functions simultaneously as a personal archive of objects by former studio colleagues, internees, designers, artists, architects and themselves.

Mode & Design Montreal...
In this Album there won't be anything covering the Mode & Design Montreal Event other than the people coming to the event...
Everyone that has a Camera is Capturing the Event so I'm not going to add to the Number of Photos of the Runway Shows in this Album...
It's About the People and Not the Event...
This is what it is about isn't it?

These are for a project-in-progress, but I like the way they were subconsciously assembled when I moved them.
... special feature on the Tricorn Shopcentre Portsmouth ... by architects Owen Luder and Rodney Gordon ... originally designed to expand upon and reflect the vibrancy of the existing Charlotte Street market ... the scheme included some residential space and a dark undercroft containing a variety of retail units ... the upper deck was reserved for a wholesale market. Circular ramps were used to move cars and pedestrians between floors ... I recall it in the 1970s and 80s when it had become fully brutal - an eerie intimidating dark grey volume of total misery only relieved for me by the purchase of the X-Ray Spex album 'Germ Free Adolescents' in the Virgin Megastore ... I moved on and it did eventually ...
Jonathan Meades : "One can have nothing but contempt for the scum-of-the-earth councillors, blind planners and toady local journalists who conspired to effect the demolition of such masterpieces."
This is a well designed container of yogurt, with a side of honey. They honey is kept in a separate, but attached, container. When you are ready to mix the two, you tip the honey compartment, which easily bends and pours into the yogurt. No sticky mess. Yum.
É com prazer que lanço hoje, como parte das atividades do Dia Nacional do Design, o projeto design_ref, que em sua vertente principal visa apresentar exemplares pouco conhecidos da produção gráfica brasileira a partir dos anos 1950.

This is the still image which I designed for the You Tube Channel proposed by Irvine Action to serve two functions: firstly to act as a community noticeboard for the people of Irvine in Scotland; and secondly, to promote the town across the World. The image is based on the town's beautiful Trinity Church and one of its three rivers - the River Irvine. On February 18 2020 the channel was launched by Irvine Meadow Community Club, here is its animated logo: www.flickr.com/photos/crawfordfulton/49559308793/in/album... Cognitive dissidence The sideyard house is elegantly designed for a narrow lot that has a large attached garage that ruins the whole effect. Note the "porch" on the garage. How do you get up there? I see no doorway.

Helsinki design week is over, but traces are still remains on the streets and other public places. You can read about events on www.helsinkidesignweek.com page and on number of blogs, as on our fellow Finland Design, for example.
One of creations I stumbled upon recently was Camouflage, an installation in the centre of the city, made by Iikka Airas and Markus Wikar. This nice and fun installation was shown in frame of Pimp My City competition:
Tuunaa Stadi (“Pimp the Cityscape”) is a competition for ideas directed at students in visual fields. It aims at finding creative means to enliven the construction sites of Helsinki. The competition was organized by Helsinki Design Week together with Grafia association, Helsingin Sanomat, Ornamo association and the city of Helsinki. The competition entries were due by the end of May. An eclectic jury evaluated them during the past summer. The sixteen best entries will be exhibited at Cable Factory during Designpartners06. In addition, four of them will be realized at the city’s construction sites at Keskuskatu. Be prepared to view the sites through totally new lenses! (From Helsinki Design Week site)
Contest entry!
I'm SO happy I got picked into the second round!
Well, not sure if you can tell, but I've been working on this since 11 am today.
I've started 3 other designs and cleared all of them out cause I kept getting better ideas. :p
I kinda like this! Although, the bar code is a little out of place...
Hopefully this works out as well as the other one!
