Ik vond het zelf heel erg mooi om te zien, niet alleen de designspulletjes maar ook de inrichting zelf vond ik geweldig.

Design is not art. It is about

Thanks for views, faves and comments! ;-)
In Greek mythology, Narcissus was a hunter from Thespiae in Boeotia who was known for his beauty.
He was proud, in that he disdained those who loved him.
Nemesis noticed this behaviour and attracted Narcissus to a pool, where he saw his own reflection in the water and fell in love with it, not realising it was merely an image.
Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, Narcissus lost his will to live.
He stared at his reflection until he died.
Narcissus is the origin of the term narcissism, a fixation with oneself and one's physical appearance or public perception.
These ones here, with their salmon trumpet, is a fragrant variety.
I (maybe wrongly) make a distinction, based on that fact, between Daffodils and Narcissus...
THANK you for ALL your comments and visits, so appreciated.
Have a wonderful day, filled with love, M, (*_*)

This year I participated in the copenhagen photomarathon like last year where I came in number 3. I did not do as well as last year, I came in number 8. you can see the whole series here
while Haida is 377 feet long and displaces 2,745 tons the beam is only 36.5 feet a key factor no doubt in her ability to do up to 36.5 knots. Given the role of a destroyer this emphasis on speed was a critical design element and perfectly understandable. Pity the poor crew though when faced with heavy weather which was all too common on the Murmansk run. I can only imagine the ship's motion would have been very unsettling in heavy seas.

Why not view the set as a slide-show?
Also I often upload more than one image at the same time, I see a tendency to only view the last uploaded...
