This is kind of an odd picture, but I thought it was interesting how you can see the circles at the top, but if you look at the bottom, the filter looks a bit like waffles.

Another experimentation with DOF, trying to focus on my son through the sand toy.

Like the way that the aperture selection blurred everything except the subject on this picture.

This looks at how as the depth of field changes so does the exposure when all other settins are the same between photos. With minimal depth of field the close grave is displayed with proper exposure and clarity, but the statue is blurry and sky faded.

I think this is a good picture for depth of field because it helps the viewer understand the perspective of the tower. I think the fact that you cannot see the bottom of the tower makes the viewer wonder how tall the tower really is. I like this as depth of field because its not birds eye view but not quite down at floor level either making it more interesting to look at.

This image shows depth as the center goes up and through the image, revealing a deeper depth.

I decided to capture a spider web because it looked very natural with the trees in the background. I also like the colors and shine that come from the sunlight hitting it.
