Nothing spectacular, especially as the weather was not the best that day. But hopefully this picture shows some of the depth (in the sense of distance) that was so available while walking on the coast path.
My friend drove me to have the dinner. Then, I saw the accessory. It is cute. So I shot some pictures for it.
For this photo i used a f-stop of 2.8 and a larger aperture to make the photo appear in focus, and so the photo was lighter not darker.

I chose to emulate the example in the module lecture, as I'm not terribly creative and thought it would be easier this way. Boy, was I wrong! I had a lot of difficulty not so much with aperture or shutter speed, but distance was a pain in my butt. It seemed akward to have the objects so far away from each other, and I wish I had changed things up a bit. Oh well, too late now. The three "depth of field" images I posted were the best of the bunch.
03Miramontes02 Depth
The directors of our spring musical had a catwalk built for their show, Aida. It is so tall! I really want to know how they intend to light someone standing on it. I'm short and my head is in the curtain.
I chose this picture because it shows a good use of depth when the foreground is in focus and the back ground is out of focus.

Also, an exercise in image compression with regards to noticable artifacts vs file size =P
Shallow depth, that is ;) Taken on a boat from Stockholm Old Town (Gamla Stan) to Djurgården island.
