The South Carolina National Guard conducted a deployment and guidon casing ceremony Dec. 21, 2018, in Graniteville, South Carolina, to recognize the 1221st Engineer Clearance Company’s mobilization in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. More than 140 Soldiers with the 1221st Engineer Clearance Company, South Carolina National Guard, will deploy for nine months to the Middle East providing route clearance support. The ceremony was for the South Carolina National Guard to officially recognize the unit’s mobilization with their friends and families in attendance prior to the holidays, but the Soldiers will not depart South Carolina till early 2019 for pre-mobilization training at Fort Bliss, Texas before deploying overseas. DILI, Timor Leste (June 15, 2016) Service members deployed in support of Pacific Partnership 2016 and members of the Timor Leste army participate in a push up challenge before starting a hands on basic life saving demonstration at a subject matter expert exchange. During the exchange participants practiced injury triage, infection prevention and patient transportation. A major blow has been struck in the battle against fly-tippers across Dudley borough with the launch of a series of deployable CCTV cameras to hit hot spots.

 

The new cameras can be moved to cover problems areas across the borough.

 

They are part of a £1.7million upgrade of the CCTV network and add to the fixed cameras which are already live in town centres.

On November 15th, 2022, The North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) held a deployment ceremony for the Headquarters of the 630th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion at Waterlife Church in Lenoir, North Carolina. The 630th is part of the NCNG’s 113th Sustainment Brigade, headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina.

 

“You have done the hard work of getting ready to deploy,” said Army Brig. Gen. Chistina Moore, NCNG Assistant Adjutant General Sustainment.

 

“We are supporting the frontier of freedom,” said Army Lt. Col. Kelby Glass, commander of the 630th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion. The nearly 70 Soldiers are experts in sustainment, logistics, and transportation and are scheduled to deploy in support of U.S. Central Command later this year.

Night Deployment, the Marines are ready for departure, and the LZ lights are dimmed so as to not blind the door gunners, or the Pilot.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Approximately two dozen Soldiers with Charlie Company, 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 151st Aviation Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard, were honored in a ceremony August 23 as they prepare to depart for a yearlong deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel. The Fresno-based 1106th Theater Aviation Support Maintenance Group is sending approx. 65 of their avionics, electrical, structural, armament, airframe, logistics and administrative aviation specialists to Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. They will join the thousands of already deployed California Army National Guard Soldiers from the fellow Fresno-based 40th Combat Aviation Brigade, who will be wrapping up their 9-month deployment later this year. Only four of these unique units exist in the nation and California's 1106th will be switching out with Connecticut's own TASMG. Their mission will be to service and support the entire theater of operations' aircraft fleet. Leadership, Col. Carmona, Command Sgt. Maj. Kellam, were joined by special guest, Brig. Gen. Laura Yeager, in wishing the men and women, their families and friends, a special thank you and safe return.
