Sawmill Village scenario played with Neil Thomas "One Hour Wargaming" Horse & Musket rules.

Only Sawmill Village can be occupied by troops. Troops inside it have an 360° arc of fire.

The Mill and Old Dover House block line of sight and fire. The wall gives cover.

Artillery on the hills can fire over their comrades, but only if they are not beyond musket range of the artllery target.

Seems like the theme for this year has been airplanes and air travel. Every time I turn around one of us is in/on or operating some kind of aircraft. Later this week The Wife is headed up to Montreal to attend a scientific conference, stopping in Minnesota along the way to pick up some of our winter clothes (in preparation for Operation White Christmas).

This is a picture of an Afghan woman in her home with her family. Here in this picture you see that they are not covered in a burka. They wanted me to take a picture of the child so I could have it but mentioned to not capture them in the photo. So you can see the women are hiding their faces. Women do in fact have the ability to have one on one touch with their children. The burka does not keep them away from their child to know who they are.
