This is a very stiff set both with and across the grain. This would be a good work horse top. It's strong reliable and could easily be made to sound more like Adirondack than most Adirondak sets. I would cut this one very thin to take advantage of it's strength and stiffness.

It would be well balanced. Have a high top end and be especially clear on high notes
