Rumginae Hospital serves communities on the outskirts of Kiunga in North Fly District, Western Province. The hospital has been affected by the travel restrictions put in place to control the spread of coronavirus. With limited flights into Kiunga, the installation of a new machine to assist in diagnosing pre-eclampsia and other conditions has been delayed. Dr Kevin and the team has relied on older diagnostic machines while awaiting easing of restrictions.
Western Province is at particular risk from COVID as the Indonesian border remains porous despite efforts to restrict border crossings.

Unfortunately there have been some problems getting Michael's poster printed on time this month. Apologies to Michael and anyone who may have traveled over to try and see his work. I hope that his work will be up very soon, if not later today then by tomorrow.
In the mean time here is a short article in the Evening Chronicle

But fans were not dampened
Megan Moroney, despite the delay because of lightning in the middle of her set, and Tyler Hubbard lit up the Bobcat stage at the York State Fair on Friday night, drawing in hordes of enthusiastic fans. Built between 1912 and 1953, this Eclectic Sullivanesque, Moorish Revival, Byzantine Revival, and Prairie-style building was designed by Louis Bourgeois and George A. Fuller to serve as the Bahá'í House of Worship, the second Bahá'í House of Worship to be constructed and the oldest remaining Bahá'í House of Worship in the world. The building is one of eight Bahá'í Continental Temples, serving North America, but saw major construction delays due to the Great Depression and World War II, before finally being completed with a modernist interior in the 1950s. The building features intricately carved stonework on the exterior with various natural and religious motifs and symbols, Islamic-inspired archways, battered corner piers at the nonagon-shaped two lower tiers of the building, a domed roof atop the building with decorative carved stonework and external ribs, fluted stone columns flanking the bays at the lowest tier of the building, a staircase and terrace wrapping the entire base of the building, a series of formal gardens with fountains arranged in a circular pattern on the building’s grounds, and a simple, modernist interior. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Today, the building is the primary Bahá'í House of Worship in North America, and the center of the Baha’i Community in the Greater Chicago region.
Based on the comments on the earlier version: same picture, but different crop & I left more colour in.

I thought the sign was funny with all the people in the road... "Expect delays" indeed! It turned out to be true in more ways then one tho, as the fireworks were also delayed. Which was too bad b/c someone was playing showtoons on the loudspeaker while we waited. It was a bit painful!
