Last Friday on my way home. A derailment between Alingsås and Gothenburg meant a 2 minute stop at Herrljung stretched to an hour and a half. What to do? Well...

I gotta hand it to Metra. Their professionalism was 100% complete - at absolutely no time did anyone make any attempt to inform us of what might be going on. No one could have done a better job of keeping passengers totally in the dark.

i like how the blonde woman is kind of the focus of the picture, the only non-blurry person, and the reflection of the people on the ceiling. there were more people pushing me toward the train, but it wasn't the one i was supposed to board.
While waiting out a 15 minute rain delay in a shelter next to the Middle Falls at Letchworth I took a lot of pictures of an interesting cedar tree nearby. I liked this one the best as you can see the rain coming down and entering a mini-stream that it has created.
A friend is in an adult baseball league and they played their opening game at keyspan park where the BK Cyclones play. good times.
The game was delayed due to fog, rain, again for fog (represented here) and then lighting... but they played the whole game.
