Its cherry season again. And I had to shoot one more, with no goal other than raising the delay to let more explosion happen.

Also, I will tell you that my last week or so of measuring flash parameters was a mixed experience. None of my pictures is any better for the measurements. Also, it is really easy for me to get wrapped up in making measurements on these flash units.

There is NO risk for me.

Taking these pictures though, is another story. I worry and stress about failure, not getting a good picture of failing to be creative. Taking these pictures is a stretch.

I wish I could just relax and let whatever happens happen, but I can't.

I am not complaining, no one is telling me I should do this stuff but me.

Taking data is easy. Taking pictures is hard.

Whine, whine, whine.

What was supposed to be an hour-and-a-half layover in O'Hare turned into at least three (plus another on the tarmac in line to take off) despite arriving half an hour late.

It's that time of the year, and time of the day when all of the trains are running late, delayed or even cancelled - Still no one wanted to go home anyway did they!

if my trip to europe did not start out smoothly, it was more than made up for by the weeks that followed. here's how it started: my flight from narita was delayed several hours by a typhoon, which caused me to miss my transfer (to rome) in hong kong. i was subsequently routed through london heathrow. i came down with a cold on the first flight and it took a couple days to recover and regain my hearing.

I was very close so I took some pictures with my camerphone.

Trucks queue on the M20 Motorway in Kent, waiting to be escorted to either the Channel Tunnel Terminal at Folkestone, or the docks at Dover.

Due to snow and freezing temperatures in both Kent and Northern France, the ferrys and channel tunnel trains had to be suspended or delayed over the last few days, causing delays to those wanting to cross the channel.

Some of these truck drivers spent a cold night in their cabs last night.
