Here are my atcs's for the Mermaid Pageant ATC Swap I hosted in The Faerie Zine.
All the packages went out this week, we had a few drop out, so I had to make some extras, that is why we are delayed. Hope that's okay!
Enjoy!
P.S. Swppers if you read this, I'll be posting in the faerie zine group and you will each receive a seaside collage sheet, emailed to you over the weekend!
Hugs!

It was a struggle to get up this morning at 4:30am since I only crawled into bed at 00:30 after late shift last night.
Met up with Dave Surtees down South Shields, the sunrise was at 6:34am but it remained a dull grey colour till around 7:00am then it all came together.

The last supermoon of the year, and the harvest moon, known to farmers for generations, as well. Moonrise will happen at 6:22 pm locally, at 94 degrees East, just minutes before sunset.
I generally practice photography by serendipity, but shooting the full moon over the lighthouse requires actual planning. I've scouted the best public location to line it up as closely as possible to the north tower of the twin lights on Thacher Island. The weather forecast is good. I arrive, set up my tripod, frame my shot. But just above the horizon is a broad, dense band of gray, a fogbank on the sea. No sign of a moonrise, not even a faint glow.
A photographer puts away his cell phone and leaves. A later arrival, with his megalens and DSLR mounted on a monopod, hangs around, chatting with me. Last month, he says, the weather was even worse for the blue supermoon. Finally, he, too, leaves. I pack up my camera and tripod, sit in the car and call in our takeout dinner order, and start the car. I back up to pull out, and, Whoa! The moon has appeared, after all!
Stop everything! I jump out and grab several handheld shots, leaning on the car. The moon isn't where I wanted it, but the evening is not a loss. Shine on, Harvest Moon!
Metropol Parasol is a wooden structure located at La Encarnación square, in the old quarter of Seville, Spain. It was designed by the German architect Jürgen Mayer and completed in April 2011. It has dimensions of 150 by 70 metres (490 by 230 ft) and an approximate height of 26 metres (85 ft) and claims to be the largest wooden structure in the world. Its appearance, location, delays and cost overruns in construction resulted in much public controversy. The building is popularly known as Las Setas de la Encarnación (Incarnation's mushrooms).
The structure consists of six parasols in the form of giant mushrooms ("Las setas" in Spanish), whose design is inspired by the vaults of the Cathedral of Seville and the ficus trees in the nearby Plaza de Cristo de Burgos. Metropol Parasol is organized in four levels. The underground level (Level 0) houses the Antiquarium, where Roman and Moorish remains discovered on site are displayed in a museum. Level 1 (street level) is the Central Market. The roof of Level 1 is the surface of the open-air public plaza, shaded by the wooden parasols above and designed for public events. Levels 2 and 3 are the two stages of the panoramic terraces (including a restaurant), offering one of the best views of the city centre. [Wikipedia] HSS

After being delayed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 7th Lorne Sculpture Biennale saw many amazing artworks along the beachfront.

Graeme Altmann created “Shipwreck” from fibreglass and acrylic. It represents an indication of a tidal shift and evidence of a greater energy at play. It was on Lorne Beach adjacent to the groyne.

CP 528 arrives in Windsor yesterday after having to wait at Delray for a few hours due to only one track up to Dougal being used because of MOW work. This had delayed 528 enough so ETR could just pass by while he was exiting the tunnel.
As a week well spent in the greater Twin Cities area drew to a close, I got a text that my flight home was being delayed by 5 or so hours. So after gathering ourselves and extending the rental by a couple hours, we were just getting our bearings back when this guy lit up the radio..."KCS 3903 East" with 63 Herzog empties out of CP's Humboldt Yard for loading at Ortonville on the TC&W. We made a beeline for Hopkins with time to spare and anxiously awaited one of my trademarked cloudf**ks, but as luck would have it a big hole broke open in the clouds as they rounded the corner. Here's the pair of endangered Southern Belle SD70MACs bringing 63 Herzog empties west down the TC&W in some sweet evening light. Sure it may suck typing this out in the airport as I wait on my flight, but this was a nice little consolation prize that we wouldn't have seen otherwise.

Melbourne artist Gunther Kopietz created a number of individual life-size figures, all enjoying a day at the beach. The pieces were created from laminated recycled timbers and paint. His work was entitled “By The Sea”.
An old friend we were visiting in Sussex happened to be delayed, so we dropped by Groombridge Place. Unfortunately the last admissions were at 3.30, but we sat in the field adjoining the car park and had some tea - then this beauty showed up! Other peacocks I've met have been very shy, but this one came right over and ate from my hand!
A pair of J SD38's lead the oil local north through Joliet UD. This train sat before the interlocking for about 3 hours before finally being able to get on the move. It delayed our plans for the day, but it was well worth the wait. 1/8/16
Due to some fun internet issues, wrapping up the product updates I was working on to go along with my FLF release got delayed, so I'll be keeping my FLF item out an extra day for you all.
For this round of Fifty Linden Friday, I made some sweet thanksgiving themed place settings. A pretty detailed plate combination topped with a mini white pumpkin, They come in four options; Mist, Fern, Gold & Blush, each with it's own embroidered quote on the napkin underneath.
To go along with this release, I updated 2 of my older releases to now be Uni-HUD compatible. The Silk Draped dining table and the Suede dining chair. I took on a bundle of requests for these items, including making the table space a little wider to fit plates better, making the bow slightly less symmetrical and adding an extra mirrored bow version in the pack. I also added extra animations to the chairs, which include drinking and eating animations complete with new prop items.
These updates, as with all Uni-HUD updates are free for anyone who already owns these items, simply hit up the redelivery terminal for your fresh copy.
Have a wonderful thanksgiving everyone, and stay safe <3 Cielo.
