Dewey Common Bluebells photographed in Spring (late April) 2009. 70% of all Common Bluebells are found in Great Britain. They are a protected species and the bulbs may not be removed or sold. The Native (to the UK) Common Bluebell readily hybridises with the Spanish Bluebell (introduced by gardeners). The hybrids frequently out-compete the native Bluebells.
Taken at or near the Great Woods of Stanmer Park, East Sussex - part of South Downs National Park.

Vo really is in the snow thigh-high here. It was even deeper in some places. Further down there was a crust that could support your weight if you were careful.

Lake Como is ome pf the deepest lakes in Europe at 1345 feet (410 metres) deep. The bottom of the lake is more than 200 metres below sea level.
Sue cracking up in our new house, accusing me of "going Southern" with my mega-jars of mayo and why is she dancing on paper towels? She and I were cracking up when she found the deep fryer in the kitchen ... oops, we got a little carried away with taking pix of the deep fryer and spilled grease from the fryer on the floor...haha...then we were laughing cuz Conrad and P were definitely NOT laughing ... ;)
