New England Aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae) - Orange Trail, The Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge Wilderness Area, Gillette, New Jersey
These reminded me of the Alpine Asters I had seen at Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, but this aster was definitely an much deeper purple than any of the other purple asters I have seen. Thankfully it was a calm day and I was able to get some nice DOF to show the squiggly sepal leaves and red stem.
I had originally thought that this was a Swamp Aster (a.k.a. Red Stemmed Aster) due to the red stems. My thanks to BC for setting my straight on that, 'cause I hate to have miss-IDed stuff in my stream. So in the event you ever think my ID may be wrong on something, by all means please let me know!

Walking around Deep Ellum, I was struck by the texture on the wooden power poles from hundreds and hundreds of old staples. There is a "post no bills" policy now and stuff that's put up is pulled down soon.

其實我對手工啤冇乜認識，純粹係試下咁嘅性質 😋 不過呢兩反真係嘗到果味 👍 另外叫咗啤啤嘅老友炸雞出場，到底係邊個發明炸雞呢啲又邪惡又好食嘅嘢 😛

A fancy mirror in an Ashram of Dewas city (Madhya Pradesh, India). It has the words of Kabir engraved on it. This is a Bhajan immortalized by legendary singer Pt. Kumar Gandharva; "Ud Jayega Hans Akela". Kumar ji's home was Dewas and he used to spend many hours at this ashram. This is perhaps the only written text of this bhajan.
