Following the course of a lost section of the Stamford canal in West Deeping. It originally ran to the left of the people in the photograph. The history of the canal is currently being researched as part of an HLF funded "All our Stories" project.

Late afternoon light in Florida. I can't say that it has the same qualities as the light further up north, but it's far and away better than the direct, blistering sunlight that occupies most of the day.
They have these walkways all over the coast where they need to preserve the ecology of the sand dunes, and there's something strangely organic about them criss-crossing the landscape.
