A long time Route 66 related attraction, the "Meramec Caverns" barns were all over the midwest, like the "See Ruby Falls" or "Mail Pouch Tobacco" barns. Pure Americana.
She was thinking so deeply about what happened the night before, that she didn't pay attention to storm building up behind her.
Fort Amherst at the mouth of St. John's harbour covered in ice and snow. The lighthouse and ruins of a World War II gun battery can be seen. St. John's, Newfoundland.
I know I have posted shots of this before, but each new season, lighting condition, time of day etc. brings a new opportunity for a different shot.

Uno degli asterismi più famosi del cielo è la costellazione di Orione. Le sue splendide stelle accarezzano lo sguardo nelle fredde notti invernali e con una tecnica fotografica opportuna evidenziano grandi misteri affascinanti delle stelle e della loro nascita.
Una delle cose che si possono notare in questa foto sono i colori stessi delle stelle: azzurro e bianco per le più calde, giallo o arancione per le più fredde.
Se il nostro occhio fosse più sensibile, il cielo ci apparirebbe come un giardino di fiori colorati

After our time exploring the Jayhawker site in Death Valley, we made our way up and over the Chocolate Mountains, through the Piper Mountains Wilderness, and down to camp at Eureka Dunes.
