Dedicated in 330 BCE (replacing two earlier temples that were destroyed by earthquake), this was the center of worship at Delphi and the place where the oracle made her oracular pronouncements. As a pagan site, it was torn down in 390 CE under the Byzantines. Archaeologists have reassembled a few of the columns.

This work is dedicated to all of you my wonderful Flickr friends. Not being able to visit your lovely streams on regular basis is so embarrassing me that I do apologize for it. I only find refuge in not having to give excuses for I think you all know about the kind of life I’m leading in Iraq. It’s none of my intentions to beg sympathy or to dwell on negative feelings but I have to say it when the alternatives are few if any! At the same time I love to honestly thank you, ALL OF YOU, for all your precious encouragement. Actually it is your support that inspired me presenting this simple work. You keep visiting my stream and posting comments even when I’m not…some of you do much more, honestly offering their spiritual support in the form of sincere prayers and genuine advices to which I’m so much grateful. To you I say you’ve set wonderful examples about heartfelt human relations.
But friendship is not always so positive! It is a thorny way or say a minefield we unknowingly pass through sometimes until we’re shocked. Examples are there and times are many when we call people friends, putting trust in them, but sooner or later we are disappointed finding out that they’re not like what we thought or wished them to be. I believe that true friends are hard to find and when found are worthy of all efforts to keep.
As with my recent uploads, I love to share with you some quotes/sayings. I used to put a “lol” beside mine just as another way of saying “I’m a simple person and by putting my quotes beside others’ I don’t mean to show off” but I was advised against the “lol” by my dear friend Professor Bob who believed that quotes were made to ponder upon and not to laugh at…he’s right.

The Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum is a private fine arts museum in Istanbul, Turkey, dedicated to calligraphic art, religious and state documents, as well as paintings of the Ottoman era. The museum was founded by Sakıp Sabancı, and was opened in June 2002. Aside from permanent exhibitions, the museum also hosts national and foreign temporary exhibitions and, hosts cultural events on the weekends. I have a series dedicated to child abuse awareness. It is something very dear to my heart. However, after creating several works, I needed to take a break. Sometimes I think we get so lost in our art that it over takes us, being that is such a personal series to me, it took me into sadness and darkness. I couldn't be there, I shouldn't have been there. I'm a mom and needed to be the best me I could be for them. So I took a step back for awhile. I really only have a few more pieces to make, I was out of the darkness so it was time to continue. The series is about awareness, opening up lines of communication and hopefully giving a sense of hope.
My daughter is the model in every piece, she has agreed to help me tell this story for all the children out there who are being hurt.
I try not to guide the viewer to much with these, I want for them to take their own journey, find their own story within the piece. While it is a dark subject, I always try to convey light and hope in every story I create.

When I met Tanya in Swansea; she was 18, with nature Blonde hair & the figure above. When photograpying Body Art; one must be very picky in selecting the model.
That is the word I learn from Max Factor - Asia Pacific Regional Manager Bob in the late 60's When I was teenager.
Bob use to share his knowledge about picking Model for Make Up & Bikinis shot from the agencies those day with my Brother in Law Rodney. He said, a model skin must be flawless. Any wound mark; cuts; tatoos he would not accept them.
In the 60's it is difficult to get model not to say about the skin. Those baby boomers normally with the wound marks due to the modquitos & frys' .. because the air quality is not so good afre the 2nd world war. Once you attacked by mosquitos then the piles would happen, then the frys' would stop on the wounds; that late when it heal it left the marks on the skin.
Only until late 70's the enironments issues are getting better, & then the people skin quality is better.
Please note that unless model is for Glamour shot, then a full figure model would be choosen, otherwise for the fashion shot, model would normally not having big breast & tshe must be slim enough to fit the fashion on assignment.
I would be more particular for the model for the nude shot, especially for the artsy nude model.
Looking at the above, you can see that her skin & skin tone are of excellent condition. I really love the contour of this.

LIMNI - ΛΙΜΝΗ
Limni, on the island of Evia, is a small port, beach and tourist resort, which is beautiful the whole year round. It is located 80 km NW of Chalkida and about 150 km from Athens.
The island of Evia lies along the Eastern coast of Central Greece, and is accessible to the mainland via two bridges, an old wooden bridge and a contemporary suspension bridge. There are also frequent ferries to several parts of the island. It is 175 km long and is the second largest island in Greece, and the third largest in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Today I want to share with you a spectacular photo of a sunset with mountains. In the image, the sky is painted with warm tones of orange and gold as the sun slowly disappears. What's most impressive is how the mountains look: their silhouettes stand out clearly against the sky, revealing every detail of their contours. The mountain ranges line up majestically, one behind the other, creating a sense of depth and grandeur. Each mountain is perfectly distinguished, from the base to the summit, capturing the natural beauty of the landscape. The clarity with which the mountains are seen, even in the distance, is truly astonishing. The contrast between the dark mountains and the sky illuminated by the sunset further enhances the magnificence of the scene. Every time I took out the camera and tripod, my little dog would fill with excitement. Her eyes would sparkle, and she would start jumping around me, wagging her tail with contagious energy. Her enthusiasm turned our photography sessions into a fun adventure, as she was always ready to explore with me while we captured special moments together." I miss her so much...............
