The deck, from above. This is my first real skateboard. My first, unreal number was a Wal*Mart special that was enough to almost turn me off skating forever.
I bought this deck from Legacy, my local skate shop for $90.
The guy at the shop told me that if it's my first board that I should buy something that's middle of the road to start so that if I hate it, I'm not out a lot of money, but if I like it, I'll know what to change next time. I know it's not a perfect/supergreat deck, but for me and my first time, it's terrific!

This ipe deck was sold by austin lumber brokers, It has been milled to a T&G so the water run off and not fall below. This is good for mulit level projects.
For the deck planking, I used the tried and tested method of laying down a beige/wood base coat, and then over painting with a multitude of darker and lighter tones.
I ended up coming along behind this a few times with a bit of paint thinner to smear and spread the coloring out, and I ended up very satisfied with the final result.
The deck was added outside the kitchen door. The perforated metal infills on the deck railing were also used on the interior stairway railings. You see many roof top decks in Baltimore that are not frequently used. Because this deck is off the kitchen it is in daily use because of its proximity. Moving the kitchen to the second floor, turned the traditional row house floor plan on its head.
Patios are most commonly constructed from paving slabs (also known as paving flags). There are two main types of paving slab; concrete or stone. Concrete slabs are cheaper than their natural stone counterparts. This is because the cost of production is far lower. Concrete slabs are produced solely within a manufacturing plant unlike natural stone which is extracted from quarries. www.HireContractor.com

The best advise she gave me was " to keep learning and reading" . It was more of a challenge then advise. I have carried it throw my life to this point. Having dyslexia it was a hard thing to do. Thanks mom, For putting up with my many hobbies over the years. I know it wasn't easy, and many times it was a Sacrifice, but that's what makes it so special. You where there when Anna died, when my world came crashing down, you where there at the highest points, And at the lowest and darkest points. You truly are a Guiding light. Even now as I stand out on my own, your still that guiding light.
1200 sq. ft. Evergrain deck with many different custom accessories. The balcony has a glass rail and finished underneath so the deck portion is usable during rain. The gazebo is set up 2 steps from the main deck and set with a fan underneath for hot nights. The kitchen area was completely designed & installed by our crew including the tile. Every step has 2 step lights along with every post having solar light caps. We resurfaced the dock and added a large gate from the main deck area to access it.
