Small deck that gets sun because the unit is on the third floor!

The old pressure treated pine decking is removed. Owner was concerned the splintering and checking of the material would injure his young children. Owner elected to keep existing sub-structure in place.

Here's the deck the evening we finished it. Andy built it in a DAY and it looks grand. I love this photo... it looks cozy, you can see inside the house and the cat's eyes look like headlights.
