Another photomerge -- but this one was not so good. Trying to document the stages of the deck installation.

Just some painting and electrical work.

Concrete! Yay... the previous deck apparently had no concrete (illegal), the posts were just placed in the ground (where two had already snapped off). The new posts are 6" thick solid beams, whereas the prevuous deck posts were 3 2x4" strapped and nailed together.

There was approximately 400 pounds of staturated foam and excess water trapped in forward section of hull. We removed all foam in the forward areas, created limber hole for future drainage. Poured new foam in place before glassing in cut out access panels in forward storage, under console and in anchor locker.

This is a stack of slabbed Alaska Yellow Cedar that Zack milled from logs. He cut the trees down and had them delivered. This will become our deck this summer.

Deck that goes with 2nd floor rental. Note slice of Atlantic Ocean visible to the left. Can see ocean to right as well and view to the bay is unobstructed. Six chairs and two small tables
