Pilots and crew chiefs assigned to 225 “KnightHawk” Company 25th Infantry Division, conduct day and night-time deck landing qualifications. To maintain proficiency, the crews must complete a total of 10 landings, five day and five night-vision landings on a ship deck every month. The concrete deck in now poured and cured. A second pour was made which included sidewalk and the railing on the non-sidewalk side of the bridge (side nearest in this view). One final pour remains for the railing on the sidewalk side of the bridge. Once the bridge deck pours are completed the remaining upper portions of the wingwalls will be cast.

It may be a little concerning to see that big track crane out on the middle of the new bridge deck. But, the contractor used some scrap pieces of plywood to prevent the tracks from damaging the deck surface.
