The last of the Quality Line ADL Enviro 400s still based at Epsom is SN11 BVG seen here on London Road. It is also the last of the eighteen DDs left in Surrey. DD01 to DD10 have been sold, DD12 is now in all over white no longer operating TfL routes with a WK garage code and DD13 to DD18 have all been transferred to Hounslow Heath.
On the last day of Epsom operating the 293 and the 467 (18/06/21), it had been used on both routes, firstly on the 293 in the morning from 07.45 until 09.23, then on the 467 from 11.30 until 13.10 and then again on the 293 until 16.00.

Castle Beach has just annexed 2 neighboring cities (Sequoia and Blue Hills) and has taken over the two fire departments. Since the 5 "new" fire engines are in good condition, the city has decided to keep them until the next batch is ordered. Sequoia Station 1 will now become Station 6, and Blue Hills Station 1 will become Station 7.
The beast arrives! After a visit to the shops, Truck 6 (Former Sequoia Truck 1) was retrofitted with equipment specified in the SOP. However, since this truck contains less space than the tillers, it does not carry the same amount of ground ladders, bulky rescue/hazmat equipment, and one of the required 3 PPV fans. Like the rest of the truck companies, the driver's side was structured to carry truck company equipment, while the officer's side was designed to store rescue tools. The driver's side contains forcible entry tools, salvage materials, roof saws, K-12 saws, reciprocating saws, salvage equipment, ropes, RIT equipment, and 2 large fans for ventilation. The officer's side contains one complete Hurst extrication equipment, a Stokes basket, a crash kit, a Hydra-ram, bolt cutters, a large amount of cribbing, a 375-ton 14-piece air bag set, Hurst shoring equipment, pneumatic drills and saws. This truck also carries some basic Hazmat equipment due to the station's proximity to the interstate.
In addition, the apparatus carries 211 ft. of ground ladders. The complement consists of extension ladders, wall ladders, and roof ladders. The extension ladder complement consists of one 35 ft. ladder, one 14 ft. ladder, one 12 ft ladder, and one collapsible 10 ft. ladder. The wall ladder complement includes two 24 ft. ladders and two 16 ft. ladders. The roof ladder complement has one 20 ft. ladder, one 16 ft. ladder, and two 12 ft. ladders.

This truck, along with Engine 106 (Former Sequoia Engine 2) will be assigned the call sign Light Force 6 and will respond in tandem to all calls. Also, when Engine 6 (Former Sequoia Engine 1), Engine 106, and Truck 6 are responding, they will be known as Task Force 6.

In case you are wondering, the four of the first five compartments (the large compartment ahead of the stabilizers, the tiny cabinet above the stabilizers, and the two smaller compartments behind the stabilizers) are all connected via SNOT. The rear compartment opens and allows storage of the ground ladders. I'm really pleased by the outcome of this rig so far!
Any comments and ratings would be greatly appreciated!!

Dennis Dominator N713 TPK was new to Guildford & West Surrey in April 1996, as fleet number DD13. It stayed at Guildford for many years, but in the 2000s, it moved to Maidstone depot (this point marking the moment when Guildford's number of deckers went down from 3 to 2, something that has only just been reversed with the arrival of B7TL 6415 at Guildford).
I think it transferred sometime during 2006, though I'm not 100% sure. In autumn 2009, it was reunited when its sisters N714 TPK and N715 TPK moved to Maidstone depot too, replaced at Guildford by two Volvo B7TLs 6402 and 6403.
It's seen here in Maidstone High Street on service 89, to and from Coxheath.
While 5214 & 5215 were repainted during the latter stages of their lives at Guildford (and so run from Maidstone with a relatively new paint job), 5213 transferred earlier and has not been repainted since. This explains why the nearside logo still has the "serving Surrey & West Sussex" strapline - something that has been eliminated from the Guildford & West Surrey fleet itself!

Broadstone's DD 14 - 02 D 3444 - looking fantastic in the new livery, currently on loan to Drogheda where she is seen in the centre of the town, West Street, loading up for the north side of the town, Moneymore Estate being the landmark for this part of the town service.
DD14 is in Drogheda at the moment covering for Drogheda based DD13 which has gone to get painted like 14 is now, and is due back in Drogheda in the next few days.
By the way, as the bus pulled up to the stop (which as always is blocked by extremely ignorant people who abandon their cars in the bus stop), i heard a woman say to her children "Oh look a brand new bus!" I wonder did she cop the reg which dates it to almost 10 years old!!
