Engine 203 is a 2015 Pierce Arrow XT refurbished in 2017 due to a rusting issue discovered in late 2016.

This is the first J4500 with a EPA '13 DD13 and has been in testing for 3 weeks. I asked for a photo or two so I could see how good our bus looks. This is one of the photos from MCI.

Still retaining Red livery, Muidland Fox 6170 (SHA 870G) travells along Haymarket in Leicester bound for Beaumont Leys.
It is a DD13 class Daimler Fleetline with Alexander bodywork.
Seen in Leicester City Centre, Midland Fox 6285 (YHA 285J), a Daimler Fleetline with Alexander body was one of the last batch of DD13's ordered by Midland Red. It is working route 94B to Beaumont Leys.

I stand to be corrected but I believe this was the last bus to carry the "ARRIVA - Serving Surrey & West Sussex" text! Sadly this vehicle has since been withdrawn from service and scrapped on site at Maidstone ARRIVA Depot. However preservation beckons for the penultimate Dominator built 5215!

Still in Midland Red NBC poppy red is Midland Fox 6179 (SHA 879G),an Alexander bodied Daimler Fleetline of the DD13 class. It is outside St Margaret's Bus Station loading passengers for Beaumont Leys on route 74.

Originally Midland Red DD13 6182, it was converted to open top and renumbered 991 (SHA 882G) and named Warwick Castle.
An Alexander bodied Daimler Fleetline, it is seen here at Wood Street, Stratford on Avon
Although carrying the ID 6225 (UHA225H) and WMPTE livery I'm not sure that this particular new to Midland Red Fleetline / Alexander ever actually operated for WMPTE in whose livery it was found on 17th December 2010. (Lots of others did, like 6224 however).

From the 25th June 2017, the Epsom Coaches Group ceased trading, coinciding with the retirement of managing director Steve Whiteway. The name Quality Line lives on however, but is now under direct management by RATP Dev London and all the Epsom-based fleet have been renumbered. The former DD13 (YX61FYR), an ADL Enviro 400 Trident is seen here on Kingston Road, West Ewell, working service 406 to Epsom, carrying its new fleet number, ADE40305.

Eric was kind enough to let me share his photo of Onondaga County's truck No. 139 in this set. This truck has a twin, No. 138. The 114SD is Freightliner's new severe service model line.
Note that the truck is painted orange rather than the county's usual yellow indicating it was purchased out of dealer inventory. Perhaps a demo or cancellation.

Strictly not a West Midlands PTE bus as it passed from Midland Red to Midland Red East in 1981, but DD13 6225 (UHA 225H) looks great in PTE livery and served as a reminder of the numbers that did wear that livery
An Alexander bodied Daimler Fleetline, it was at the Coventry Running Day on 1st January 2018.
It has since been repainted into NBC poppy red.
Truck 4 arrived from Smeal today! This beast now serves the Chinatown area along with Engine 104.

The driver's side was structured to carry truck company equipment, while the officer's side was designed to store rescue tools. The driver's side contains forcible entry tools, salvage materials, roof saws, K-12 saws, reciprocating saws, salvage equipment, over 2000 ft. in ropes, RIT equipment, and three large fans for ventilation. The officer's side contains a complete Holmatro extrication equipment, a Stokes basket, a crash kit, a Hydra-ram, bolt cutters, a large amount of cribbing, a 375-ton 14-piece air bag set, shoring equipment, pneumatic drills and saws, and a variety of non-sparking tools, meters, and suits for Hazmat-situations.
In addition, the apparatus carries 276 ft. of ground ladders. The complement consists of extension ladders, wall ladders, and roof ladders. The extension ladder complement consists of two 35 ft. ladders, one 14 ft. ladder, one 12 ft ladder, and one collapsible 10 ft. ladder. The wall ladder complement includes two 24 ft. ladders, two 20 ft. ladders, and two 16 ft. ladders. The roof ladder complement has one 20 ft. ladder, one 16 ft. ladder, and two 12 ft. ladders.
Designed to be a straight truck, Truck 4 carries no water or hose, but the ladder is prepiped with a 1500 gpm monitor for ladder pipe operations.

JB Hunt Freightliner Cascadia Mid-Roof sleeper that is used for their "Regional" Intermodal operations. JB Hunt is now buying these "Short Nose" Cascadias with the DD13 engines instead of the regular hood version that had the DD15 engine. These trucks are also now being spec'd with Aluminum wheels to cut down on the weight of the tractor. Shot on I-84 near Rufus, OR in January 2010.

Preserved in NBC red, Midland Red 6191 (UHA 191H), a Daimler Fleetline with Alexander bodywork (class DD13) is an entry into one of the Bristol Rallies held at Hengrove Park.
Engine 101 is the latest engine to go in service. As a twin to Engine 1, she sports the updated colors and striping. Engine 101 responds in tandem with Truck 1 to all calls. Together, these two trucks are referred to as Light Force 1 and make up the backbone for the department's SOP. A light force can be very flexible in a fire scene because the crew has the equipment to take up any task given by the incident commander.

En route to Narborough via Enderby, Midland Red D13 Daimler Fleetline 6164 (SHA664G) speeds down the Narborough Road dual-carriageway towards the Leicester city boundary. The bus was one of a batch of 103 vehicles delivered in 1969-70 with Alexander J-type bodywork, featuring a second set of doors behind the front axle. They were equipped for one-person operation from the outset. A pair of Bedford TK vans follow.
