It's Tuesday..I had another idea that I was working on, but then I got tired of it and just decided to go with this instead.

The Lyceum Theatre is a 2,000-seat West End theatre located in the City of Westminster, on Wellington Street, just off the Strand.

There has been a theatre with this name in the locality since 1765, and the present site opened on July 14, 1834 to a design by Samuel Beazley.

The building was unique in that it had a balcony overhanging the circle. It was built by the partnership of Peto & Grissell.

After the success of the Cherry (an amazing 19 000 views yesterday in total to my stream) I thought I would revisit the Bluberry for another macro shot....not as straight forward as the Cherry, wet with water just didn't look as good as dry so here's my final choice, I wish I liked to eat them as they do look yummy but I'm just not keen.....we also have a fridge full of fruit so it may be fruit macros for the rest of May !!!

Thanks again for all the views, comments and faves, all are very much appreciated :)

I bought this red pepper with the intention of slicing it in half and photographing the seeds inside it. Unfortunately, I do not have x-ray vision and when I cut this open it was not a very nicely shaped pepper. I had to go with this shot. I will definitely have to re-visit this shot - any ideas on how to identify a good pepper?

I am off to the Mull of Kintyre in Scotland tomorrow evening for the long weekend. I hope to be able to upload photos whilst I am away but if not I will do it on my return on Monday!

Day 142.

Today is my last day off before returning to work. I was in on Tuesday and Wednesday between xmas and New Year but it feels like it's been a long time since I was there.

Anyway, today I thought I'd make the most of the beautiful weather and see what I could get for some outdoor shots.

I drove past, then backtracked to, this field where I saw lots of sheep. Sheep make me smile at the best of times - they seem so comical on their spindley legs and with their curious button eyes. They were quite timid - sheepish if you like - but there always seems to be a leader in the flock that the rest follow sheep-like (this is writing itself) - and I think this particular one was the leader here.

I parked by the fence and all eyes were on me! They stood there, frozen (probably literally) until I made a move to go back to my car, then they all flocked (!) to the gate.

Of all the shots I took (and there were many which I whittled down to these few) this one makes me laugh the most for some reason.

They were pretty cute creatures!

Day 142 ~ 365: the 2013 edition"

TOMICA is one of the most popular series of palm-sized model cars in Japan. The exhibition is held once a year. I didn't used to know this product lineup consists of a variety of cars, but now I know some of them because of my dear nephew.

Day 142 - My Head hurts

After that much work the last couple of days, Santa can't wait to get a break and relax a bit... his head hurts.

I found this little chocolate Santa standing around today and somehow that shiny wrapping paper caught my attention... seconds later I had the idea for my picture today.

Day 142 of the 366 challenge 2016.

Please view on black, I think it's worth it.

What a glorious spring day it was today..,. which meant we spent pretty much the whole day (except for my daughter's ice skating class) outside..

Had a few ideas for my shot today, but kept on getting delaying it waiting for that perfect light... well, I learnt that I shouldn't wait too much.. 'coz soon it was evening and I still had to take my shot..!! luckily, this cardinal flew by and landed on a post nearby.. and just as I started clicking, he started to shake vigorously.. hence the ruffled feathers.. but the eye and head are in good focus.. so, turned out to be a keeper..

Anyhow, enough of my rants... I like this 'coz even though its "just a bird", its a bit different..

Thanks...

This darling little Pug mix puppy doesn't have a name yet, but I think she kind of looks like a Pugsly. :) She's available for adoption from the Taylor Animal Shelter.

This is the remains of my Morning Glory plant from last year, it was a hell of a climber and twisted and tangled itself around everything and grew at a great rate. The rain and hideous weather has prevented me from finishing off the tidy up so hopefully the forecast of a heatwave will be right and I can get back into the garden again.

Shot on iPhone 5.

I have now pretty much lost track of what day it is, but I know I took this on my morning run around Seattle - which makes it a shot taken about 11.30pm Brisbane time (I'm sticking with Brisbane time for my 365 to deal with the dateline confusion).

Seattle is really a beautiful city. It's just a pity I've been here for a shorter time than my travel to and from Australia will take.

But I've fitted a lot in. A really busy work day yesterday. A run to the lake today. And then there was meeting my flickr mates Steven and G - a real highlight of my whole 365 experience.

I'm sorry I haven't had any real flickr time for a few days. I'll be back in the swing of things when I'm home.

Come On! We want.... to parade at The Devon County Show!

Despite only just managing to catch this photo (hence the focus issues) I think it has to be the shot of the day after all. I can take pictures of huge tractors any time.

Love when the cherries start showing up in the stores again.

May 22nd. It's my busy day today. Seeking inspiration for the theme I looked up the definition. It gave me inspiration of sorts! This is two different shots with the macro filter, lined up in diptych. It sort of works.
