Everywhere one looked in the garden - each and every turn - each view was just as lovely as this one. It was spectacular!

Best viewed large, in the distance one can see Belingham Bay; you kind'a have to squint, but it's there.

Had a few days off last week, we spent the day doing fun things like eating icecream down the bay,,

Taken from the top of Mt. Constitution on Orcas Island, one can see for miles and miles. Though it was a hazy day, the view was nontheless spectacular!

Oz, the Great and Powerful! Also managed to sneak some freshly baked cookies into the theater. :D

Here is the local biergarten: vibrant in its colorful autumnal display, and fun in its colorful and lively patrons.

bob and i had a date day with sammy. we went hiking on the big laguna loop in the laguna mountains. for those of you southern californias that have not been here, check out this like and head up: www.trek4fun.com/trails/luguna_mountain_trail.htm

Leave it to me to go into a shop called "ganz klasse" and encounter "our peeps." He was delightful, and made several suggestions for good eats.

Taken from below, this is one of the spires on the Bridge of Glass. I just thought it made an more interesting photo shooting the image from below. There are two spires approx. 110 ft. tall each. Huge chunks of blue glass rising upwards, these spires indicate the Bridge of Glass is here.

Just a sign on the side of one the many buildings. Bad Töltz is a quaint little village outside of Munich, and a great place to ski.

Whether entering or leaving the picturesque Bavarian village of Leavenworth, WA, one gets the sense of welcome, or we-hope-you-had-a-great-visit to-our-town. Indeed, Scott and I have a fantastic time!

Though we didn't go for a ride, it still looked like a lovely, romantic was to spend some time in town.

This wall, when viewed from afar, reflected the shimmering water ripples. I tried to capture it on film, as it were, but to no avail. It just didn't read well.

As one walks over the Bridge of Glass, these are the panels on the sides.

After awhile, I noticed that I kept spotting bits of this same green- and red-striped pattern...maybe there was a factory nearby?
