Dating from 1949, and now in use as the STEADFAST with Puffin Cruises, the former RNLI 'Watson' Class Lifeboat' the RNLB BERYL TOLLMACHE is pictured in Amble Harbour on May 15th 2011. It was based at the RNLI Station at Eastbourne. I first saw the STEADFAST when it was moored on the River Ouseburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne, in April 2006.

A couple dating in a park on a Sunday day. Due to strict and conservative moral in Indian society couples have difficulties in seeing each other in an intimate place.

Before heading to Beverly Hills to see Rozzy & Vic's new apartment. I've always loved this dress ever since my best friend got it about 2 years ago. It shrank so the slip now shows from the bottom but I kind of like the oopsiesmyslipisshowing factor. A little innocently sezzy. Also - I do believe these heels will become a staple of many outfits to come. I can't believe they were only $8 (that's what happens when you have size 9 1/2 feet).

Dress - bestie's closet ;)

Leggings & ring - F21

Heels - Target ($8 on sale!)

Purple belt & flower - Fashions of Echo Park

Apple necklace - gift from Detroit <3

These are almost all of the eyes I have "captured" in my eye set. :D

Greta and I spent the afternoon swimming and sunning at Lake Nokomis. Her husband sent us off with a big nalgene bottle full of sangria. It was cold, delicious and fruity.

More shots from my daughter's first prom this past weekend. I had to do a real balancing act (on the fence) to get this picture. Fortunately, I did get some great smiles from these kids (basically because they were laughing at the photographer). :)

we went to the lake to read together. we had just arrived at the shore, when he went back for something that was left in the car. while waiting, I was nervous and took a picture of my feet. it's almost four years later to the day.

we went on to marry one another here at the lake, right where we fell in love.

I can't believe how much I treasure this now.

What i wore on a second date with Mr "smellsgood" lol

We went out to Bing's in Walnut Creek for a retirement/40 years of service party for one of the hub's co-workers. We had so much fun...Bing's is an old Hollywood dream, with big velvet booths and lots of memorabilia, basically heaven for an old movie lover like me!

MICHIGAN CENTRAL DEPORT, PORTER, INDIANA

Date: 1908

Source Type: Postcard

Publisher, Printer, Photographer: Albert Hahn Company (#1374)

Postmark: June 9, 1908, Porter, Indiana

Collection: Steven R. Shook

Remark: The photographer was facing southeast while standing on the tracks of the Michigan Central Railroad. This structure was the railroad's passenger depot, while the structure farther down the tracks, to the left and not visible in this image, operated as the railroad's freight depot.

The passenger depot was located southeast of the intersection of Wagner Road and Lincoln Street, on the south side of the tracks. Today, the location of the passenger depot is a brush-filled lot.

The following news item appeared in the October 14, 1915, issue of The Chesterton Tribune:

Porter Department

The depot of the M. C. R. R. at Porter is putting on a rather distinguished appearance these days. The company has had its workmen here fixing it all up. They have raised it, put in new floors and windows and put in a new desk for Agent Glover which brings a smile of satisfaction to his face. A new roof and a coat of paint finished the job. The freight house and the company's other building came in for their shore [sic; share] also.

The following news item appeared in the January 26, 1933, issue of The Chesterton Tribune:

FILL UP OLD M. C. RAILROAD CISTERN

Considerable interest was manifested during the last few days in the filling of the large cistern on the Michigan Central right of way just across the tracks from the station. The huge cistern, approximately 20 feet in diameter and 35 feet deep, was filled in with cinders by section men of the road. Several carloads were necessary before this large hole was filled. Old-timers will remember the pumping of water from this cistern when the livery stable burned, and when the railroad received its supply of water from it. Because the protecting timbers were beginning to rot away, making it a hazard, the road authorized the closing of the cistern.
