This is a shot of the dashboard of an Auburn Boattail Speedster on display at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. The image is a crop of a larger shot. I didn't have a long lens and you can only lean in on the car so much, so I shot with what I had and cropped it later. I was also hand holding a flash to provide some light to the interior. I really like the design details of these cars from the 30's and 40's.
Processing was mostly limited to cropping from a larger image and performing some minimal curves work a some color balancing to remove some color cast from the surroundings.

February 13, 2011 - I glued the first items to the dashboard of That Car #3 today. These skeletons were purchased at Tater Red's on Beale Street in Memphis and rode on the dashboard of That Car #2 for several years. After driving a plain car for the last couple of weeks, it is nice to have these guys looking at me while I drive!
