You know I'm really bored and uninspired when ....
I have to put up a picture of my dashboard as the picture of the day. Oh well, it is one of those days.
Pictures of my first new car. Its Mazda3 5-door hatchback. I got it all decked out with leather, sunroof, HID, 17inch wheels, and varous other probably un-needed ameneties!! =) Many more pics to come!

I was looking through my old pictures and thought this one looked cool. In GM vehicles (VPW speaking, at least), the various computer modules (the dashboard, the ECU/PCM, the BCM, the ABS controller, and sometimes the airbag module) all speak on the same bus used for OBDII diagnostics, so with an appropriate interface, I can tell the modules to do the various things I've figured out how to do.
There can be a lot to take in when driving a rental car for the first time. This Nissan X-Trial has a lot of buttons and dashboard information.
At least it has an automatic gearbox like many other cars in Mexico - so driving is a little easier.
Shifting from right to left hand drive isn't a problem for me any longer. I've doing it for years. I find that driving a left hand drive car is more natural.
