I still prefer the look of the gauges on a classic car dashboard.
This one is here if from Lexus IS300 Crossover* 2001/2002.
Los Angeles; August, 2023
* sold as the Toyota Altezza in Japan.
GKN 632Y is quite a rare car, being among only a handful of survivors from the transition period where the facelifted front end was combined with the original wacky dashboard that was later replaced by something rather more conventional. The single-spoke steering wheel is of course a Citroen trademark and the bizarre control pods are unlike anything I had ever seen before - the indicators are operated not by a stalk but by a rocker switch on top of the left-hand pod.
I deliberately kept it simple, not so much detail. I'm going for shape rather than complete details.
When i open my filofax, the first thing i see is the transparent top open envelope. i keep my fav polaroid of me and my husband the day we got married :)
Why is this a dashboard? I stick all my sticky notes on this so that i see everything at a glance when i open my filo.
grocery lists, reminders, voucher codes etc
