Years ago, there was a tree next to the other. Climate change greetings - unfortunately! Ergo, something must be done against it.
...two suns upside down...
...suspended by water and light...
...oh how I love to wish...
...on a star so bright...
In the heart of a misty, silent wood,
Where whispers of nature are understood,
Each tree stands tall, a mirrored frame, Symmetry found in this quiet place, Branches reach out in perfect line,
In the forest's still and sacred game.
I have not seen such a beautiful dark forest in my life
Lepchajagat is a small village in the forest at an elevation of 6,956 feet (i.e. 2123 meters) located 19 km away from Derjeeling situated on the route that connects Ghoom and Sukhiapokhari. Lepchajagat means "Lepcha tribe shelter" in the original language.

"Geh aus, mein Herz, und suche Freud" ("Go Forth, My Heart, and Seek Delight"): A christian hymn, text in German by theologian Paul Gerhardt ( written in 1653).
As I walked through the forest I could see a clearing just ahead, the fog thick beyond. I stopped and enjoyed the absence of all sound. (except my camera shutter) Of course driving a semi every day has probably cost me a few decibels of hearing, but still, the quiet was almost overwhelming, in a good way.
Took this near the "Once upon a time", picture in the forest behind the rest area near Oakland, Oregon.
An absolutely calm, peaceful valley with a beautiful, ravine-like backdrop. And a river, the Bode, that flows through it. Where? In the Harz, near Thale. Worth visiting!
Which forest? Besides a few remaining bald strains, nothing has remained! How slowly my patience and mood on this topic is used up, so I will end this project next Sunday. It's spring, the sun shines, it will be warmer .... and a new project will come. Enjoy the fresh air and the nice weather!
