Please press "L" for a big difference. While driving by spotted the dappled light on this glass building in downtown Baltimore on Sunday. I think we were doing about 35mph.

Had to go back to this area we visited a few years ago. Every late February/Early March, the crab apple trees bloom with beautiful pink flowers. Pink is her FAVORITE.

Last Wednesday I figured, since I was "prettied up" a little, and it was a gorgeous day, I'd shoot some selfies. This was in the shade due to the hour of day, so as to avoid weird shadows chopping up my face and so I wouldn't look like I was frowning into the sun.

At the start of a walk from Beeley, I meet an old friend, this lovely old oak tree is in extreme shadow but now shows us its graceful silhouettes while underneath the grass glows green, sunlight and softness combine.

Here;s a shot i took of a different walk passing past here on my way to Beeley moor-- www.flickr.com/photos/dazzygidds/5685537040/in/set-721576...

Above Debenham the Deben meanders to its source just above Mickfield Meadow. For much of the summer and autumn the river often dries up completely allowing exploration along the river bed.

As spring takes a turn for the worst, a memory from last June when the sun shone for a whole day, butterflies were dancing among the flowers and people actually commented on Flickr....

Along the garden path

Brimstone on runner beans in the garden. The colours of the Brimstone and the shape of the wings really help to camouflage this butterfly in the dappled light that's coming through the beans. Camera D800, Lens 70-200@200mm, F11, 1/200 Sec., ISO 500.

Church Building Bathed In Dappled Light

This is a luminescent glowing light effect I created on this breathtaking photograph using glitterboo.com. You can see it animated here.

The original photograph taken by howaral I found on morguefile.com and can be seen here.

I saw the potential of this shot as I looked up in the tree-- It looks like a shot in a magazine to me!

We are panicking. What to focus on as the cable car steadily rises up to the Heights of Abraham.

Wouldn't you love to shove off from one of those waterfront home docks for a day of boating in the sun? Or even dappled sunlight from passing clouds :-). This is a part of the Laurelhurst neighborhood, a hilly peninsula that juts out dividing Union Bay from Lake Washington. I viewed it through a long lens from the Interlaken area on Capitol Hill.

Noticed this driving over the Quantock Hills on my way to Crowcombe Station.

Izzy McFizzy (our neighbor's cat who mostly lives with us and is not actually named Izzy McFizzy) caught on our shed roof. This dilapidated roof, is slated to be replaced in the new year. Look at that moss. Classic Northwest.
