Apart from building the Yuzusoft website, I also developed this free iPhone app called DRACLOCK. It features all 4 heroines from the game DRACU-RIOT and I developed it to help you learn how to tell the time in Japanese! There is no easier way to learn Japanese than being taught by cute 2D girlies!
You can set the clock to automatically read out the time every 30, 15, 10, 5 or 1 minute in the voice of your fave character - or just tap the clock.
You can display the characters in a selection of costumes with the background of your choice. You can even tweet the current time - the app will take a screenshot and upload it for you like this.
On the day of release, it climbed up to the top 10 free utility charts in the App Store. The app originally had a bikini option but Apple rejected it because they decided that stabbing people was OK but bikinis were not - I'm still confused as to why there are so many games in the App Store where you can go around shooting or stabbing people and yet such peaceful bikinis are not allowed.
Anyway - this app is free and hopefully after using it for a while, you should be able to tell the time in Japanese too! This app was developed together with iOS Meister Ken Lee. Am working on MiraiClock3 for the Android and if I got spare cycles then will do DRACLOCK for the Android too.
Get DRACLOCK for free from the App Store

More about my backgroundWas born and raised in the East end of London - this photo taken in Victoria Park Hackney while I was still living with both parents. Parents are both Malaysian Chinese.
Later on in life during my early years, times were tough for my parents who both worked hard day n night. As they were both busy trying to make ends meet, they decided to put me in various foster homes which I lived in for most of my childhood. In some of the homes, I wasn't treated incredibly well but didn't say anything to my parents as I knew they were having their own financial and other problems. I ended up living with a white, black and then with an Indian family for what seemed like an eternity.
As luck would have it, one of the foster homes had guardians who would take my clothes and consider it theirs while their kids would constantly bully me - was easy to pick on the boy who had no parents. I was made to feel as unwelcome as possible in their house.
I remember a particular evening where we came back to the house to discover the front door open. We walked in to discover that the place was a mess - burglars had got in. I was scared and started to cry. The eldest child of my foster family shouted at me:-
"What are you crying for?! This isn't even your house!"
Other memorable moments in one of the homes was when I was strangled until I had red patches around my eyes. When asked the next day at school, all I could think of was saying that I put cups on my eyes ^^;
Another unforgettable time was when I was beaten with car racing tracks - a bit like these ones but were made of rubber with an orange strip down the middle. Was left with lovely bright red marks all over. Remember looking in the mirror after the beating session and still remember exactly what I looked like back then down to the green jumper that I was wearing.
The only thing I had in life back then were the occasional weekends with my parents. Dad would come to pick me up for the weekend and I would either stay with him or he would drop me off at mums. But at times he was just swamped with work and couldn't make it. The phone would ring and my foster parents would pick up and hand me the phone.
After hanging up I would sit crying on the stairs looking out at the small window above the door. I couldn't even go out to cry because I wasn't allowed out on my own apart from going to school. All I could do was go back to my room which was a small stock room with a bed. I would have dreams of my only friend Buck Rogers coming to visit me with his trusty robot Twiggy.
Mum and dad were paying my foster parents to house and feed me and not to particularly care about how well or bad I done at school. My childhood was school > go home > eat > occasionally watch TV > go to room > repeat.
The TV was my first encounter with Japanese anime where I watched Gatchaman (called G-Force in the UK). I didn't particularly know it was Japanese - not that it was important at the time anyway.

Next up is Nyan Type - available from J-List at 14 USD for each edition. The kanji on the magazine is "娘" - the Chinese pronunciation is "Nyan" (or close enough). The kanji means "young female" and there are plenty of them to keep you entertained for hours when the parents are out or when your bedroom door is locked.

I'm useless at keeping secrets for too long so might as well talk about it now. I'm working with anime production studio JC Staff to breathe 2D life into our Mirai Suenaga. This work will be for the opening and ending of Mirai Millennium which I will initially use as the OP to Season 2 of Culture Japan.
JC Staff will be working on the animation and I will be working on the backgrounds, editing and sound mastering. You can see some of the backgrounds in the headers of the new design of the site that I hope you like - but its not finished yet and we are rolling out the changes in stages.
What I would like to ask is what are your fave anime OPs? Just want to get an idea of what you like and hopefully get some inspiration as I do the editing. There will be a scene where Mirai is walking as the background scrolls - Mirai with wavy hair and all. A few cuts of her in Summer uniform and some in her Solar Marine uniform too.
I'm currently getting a load of inspiration from the OP of Diebuster - one of my most fave anime OPs.
Do share your fave OP and ED with a link from YouTube pasted in the comments like www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFQ5WGHpo48
If there are any particular inspirations that I use then I promise to stick your name in the credits ^^

The plot below copy pasted from Wikipedia.
Yōto Yokodera is a second year High School student who is arguably the biggest pervert at school. His problem is that he is not good at showing his real emotions. One day, his equally perverted best friend completely transforms and gets rid of his “impure thoughts”; a feat he attributes to the power of the statue of "warawanai neko" (the cat that won’t laugh).
As the rumors suggest, wishing upon the statue and giving an offering(eg. stuffed animal, etc.) you can wish to remove a personality trait from yourself that you do not wish to have anymore. What they do not realize at the time is that it will remove the unwanted trait and give it upon to someone who does need it. As he’s making his offering to the statue, a girl (Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi) arrives at the same place. Tsukiko also hearing of the rumors of the warawanai neko, was there to make her wish. She wishes to be able to be more like an adult and not show her emotions so easily.
Both of them wish upon the warawanai neko and to their surprise the next day at school, Yōto is unable to tell a single lie, and Tsukiko is unable to show any sign of emotion whatsoever (aka kūdere). After realizing that they do not like the change that happened, they work together to try and find out who has received their trait that was taken away in order to get it back, bringing in another character into the mix, Azusa Azuki.
An ojōsama type girl who is the most beautiful first year that has just transferred. She is always being confessed to by many boys in school, the odd thing is that she has no friends and is always alone. Yōto finds out that Azusa is the one that received his unwanted trait and that is where the love triangle and plethora of problems begins.
