National Dance Competition "Magic of Dance" (Ogólnopolski Konkurs Taneczny "Magia Tańca") organised by the Cultural Association "Gwiazda". Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland
Petrushka - 1985. All the people who danced important proles in the first Dutch production of the Fokine classic were involved in the staging for the Dance Academy, which then still had a ballet department. There was Ronald Snijders for Petrushka, Panchita de Péri for The Ballerina, Conrad van de Weetering to coach The Backamoor, Maria Koppers undertook The Gypsy Women, Mariëtte Fisher-Mreyen The Nurses, while Simon André taught The Coachmen. All these coaches in turn worked with Leonide Massine back in the late 1950's/early 1960's, who had a most faithful and musical interpretation of Fokine's work.
