Jaipur elephant festival is spectacular, n is known all over the world.This festival started almost 25 years back.There are about 105 elephants in jaipur and there is an elephant village near jaipur,first of its kind in asia , where govt has rehabitilated 51 families of mahawats(elephant trainers) .There is a water body for elephants in the village where elephants take bath n enjoy.
Dancers from Scottish Ballet in the world premiere of their new production of Swan Lake, choreographed by David Dawson.
I took this at the dress rehearsal at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow, two weeks ago.
You can see other shots of this production in my Swan Lake set.
It's in Inverness this week and will also be touring to Newcastle, Edinburgh and Liverpool.

One of my extraordinary nieces demonstrating some dance moves; partly to give me some much-needed practice photographing movement, and partly to give her a warm-up before an important audition.

From an "open house" arrangement in our local activity centre. The centre covers almost every possible activity including photography and belly dancing. The belly dancers droped in at the studio on thier way to thier performance.
