A mushroom (Clouded Agaric?) growing among the Autumn leaf litter has had a chunk taken out of it by something (no, not me!) revealing the insides of the fungus.
Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Macro Monday is damage. I have many, many exemples of damaged things around me. I’m a very clumsy person (but dont worry I have other qualities…) and my oldest son is exactly like me (unfortunately for him lol). But I decided to go with a broken blue pencil since I love its color (especially on a red background). This pencil is all broken inside. It was drooped on the floor way too many times (I'm pretty much sure that as a very young pencil he was drooped on his head...) for a wooden pencil. No wonder that this pencil’s inside feelings and life were shattered… Broken beyond reparation. It makes it a perfect subject for this theme.
I will think about this sad story during my video meeting this morning for sure …
See you later my friends ! Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!!

Let's return to the Waalhaven again... and see that the sturdy metal container boxes aren't impervious to damage.
Shot at a container storage facility at Waalhaven.
The Waalhaven is one of the harbours on the left bank of the Maas in Rotterdam. With an area of 310 ha, it is the largest excavated harbour basin in the world. The Waalhaven flows into the Nieuwe Maas and is directly connected to the sea via the Scheur and the Nieuwe Waterweg.
This number 1288 of Minimalism & explicit graphism and 10 of the Waalhaven Rotterdam album.

Thanks for taking time to fave, comment and look at my work. I really appreciate.
The ribbon-shaped pendant necklace got damage. It was not expensive one and the repair fee will be higher, so I can't make it fix...
The part shown in the photo was about 5 cm.
Bacterial Leaf Spot on Bougainvillea leaf. Leaf is about 2” in length. Spot is about 1cm across. For Macro Mondays- Damage.
I have a friend who, when she still lived in the same town, took care of me having art in my house. She gave me this African statue. I feel bad about the missing bit here but can't remember if it came like this or if it broke when someone in the house (whose name I won't mention) dropped it. The piece you see here is about 2 inches long.
HMM!

Measurement was a sticky matter. After damage 5 cm height and 6,8 cm width 😄

The structures colors and reflections on the surface are the result of the environment and the light
This is a pumpkin that I blew at the Sonoran Glass School in Tucson, Arizona. Unfortunately the tip of the stem broke off.
Captured for Macro Mondays theme: damage.
